Hello, do you guys know if you need skies for the ski team or if they will give you them?

Hello Person A,Glad you asked! Unfortunately Rockridge does not provide skis for the ski team; however, you have a few options if you want to join the team but you don't have skis.
First, you could rent skis from either Cypress Mountain for training and/or Whistler Blackcomb for race day as practices usually happen on Cypress and the single, big race at Whistler.
Second, you could rent from a local ski shop such as Destination Ski for short-term or long-term. They offer rentals for one year.

Third, you could buy skis for the year from a local used ski shop such as North Shore Sports Swap. You can find some treasures there.
The second and third options are assuming you'd like to practice for the year. This would mean you'd have to pay for lift tickets each time you ski as well which is approximately $50 for grouse or Cypress and about $75 - 100 for Whistler/Blackcomb.
